Are you passionate about helping students find their voice? We're on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the charming city of Bonifay. In this school-based role, you'll work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in achieving their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP, utilizing engaging and effective techniques.
• Document student progress and collaborate with the educational team to adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.
• Provide a supportive and encouraging environment to foster student confidence and growth in communication skills.
• Maintain organized therapy materials and keep accurate records of sessions.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
• Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state of Florida.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to student interaction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
• Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
