Senior Estimator – Commercial Roofing (New Construction, $1M–$20M Projects)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote – Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours)
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 total compensation
This is your chance to step into a key estimating role with a national leader in commercial roofing. We’re looking for a Senior Estimator who thrives on complexity—someone who can break down the biggest, most technical new construction projects and turn them into precise, competitive bids.
If you’re fluent in the language of blueprints, bid portals, and CAD drawings—and know how to bring accuracy, strategy, and insight to every estimate—you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll DoReview architectural and structural drawings to define project scope and materials.
Perform detailed take-offs for roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and Metal.
Develop full cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
Prepare complete bid proposals and submittal packages, including CAD-based documentation.
Upload and manage bids through GC platforms such as Building Connected, Builder Connect, or Procore.
Maintain and organize estimating data within multiple CRM systems.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, risks, and value-engineering options.
Partner with project management and field teams to ensure seamless project handoffs.
Build trusted relationships with general contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing estimating experience, focused on new construction .
Proven track record handling large-scale projects ($1M–$20M) .
Proficiency in The EDGE (preferred) or similar estimating software.
CAD experience for submittal drawings and documentation.
Familiarity with platforms like Procore, Building Connected, or Builder Connect .
Skilled in Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation methods.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
