Main Responsibilities:

• Install and configure conduit for electrical and instrumentation wiring, handling tasks like measuring, cutting, bending, and threading.
• Execute wiring for both electrical and instrument setups, ensuring the correct size and number of conductors.
• Employ various hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches to install electrical and instrumentation devices.
• Replace or fix electric motors, requiring coordination for proper alignment and positioning.
• Diagnose electrical circuit issues to promptly restore equipment functionality.
• Utilize necessary tools like drills and grinders to fulfill job requirements.
• Ensure all procedures adhere strictly to safety protocols, focusing on lockout/tagout.
• Leverage computer systems and logic for troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate effectively with the mechanical team.
• Exemplify excellent housekeeping practices and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrate ability to lift items as needed, using assistance for heavy lifting when required.

Essential Qualifications:

• State of Michigan Journeyman or Masters License
• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Experience in industrial, mechanical, or maintenance fields
• Completion of Michigan Sugar Company's Electrical/Instrument Apprenticeship Program
• Capability to perform work at various heights and with heavy physical tasks
• PLC and VFD programming skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints
• Understanding of networking and power systems

• Navigate machinery controls using PLC systems
