What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Manager, you will carry out our Mission of Love by developing home health services through supporting operations, budgets, and overseeing the clinical staff.
Our Clinical Manager is responsible for the following:
- Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and Medical Assistance regulations and other governmental or industry regulations, certifications and accreditation applicable to activities of Ashlar Home Health and Hospice, LLC along with a base knowledge of financial accounting/budgeting standards.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with staff and community agencies. Identifies and develops new relationships that may benefit our patients and families.
- Proficient in identifying, planning, developing and executing organizational goals and objectives and advancing home and community based services while anticipating potential threats or opportunities.
- Assists the Director of Home Health with operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
- Provides staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, evaluation of staff, and competency testing and performance improvement for home health staff. Collaborates with the Masonic Villages Healthcare education team and Penn/LG to support education opportunities for staff. Researches needs and sets up training and in-services as appropriate in collaboration with the Director of home health.
- Supports program personnel having current clinical information, current practices and that supportive services are available to staff. Informs Director of current organizational, community, and industry trends.
- Serves as clinical team leader for home health, if needed. Supports the Director of home health in being sure skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician or a registered nurse.
- Supports the home health Director in appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours. Acts as the alternate to be available at all times during operating hours in the absence of the administrator. Takes on-call rotations as needed.
- Supports the staff in performance of their duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation and provision of service to patients. Ensures that structure and systems promote interdisciplinary care. Supports collaboration with agencies and vendors for effective management of services. Participates in evaluation of services provided by other agencies to be sure they are appropriate. Assists the Director with oversight of service utilization to support delivery of comprehensive care.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in health-related field or management strongly preferred.
- Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in health care, with a preference for home health experience.
- 1-3 years of experience as a supervisor or administrator.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral form and basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated record of business and personal performance in high growth, fast-paced, results-oriented organization.
