Established in 1852, the Ole Miss Alumni Association is dedicated to making a connection with alumni and friends of the university and to supporting Ole Miss. The Department of Alumni Affairs maintains a database of names and addresses of alumni and friends of the university; involves alumni and friends through various activities and programs; organizes reunions; coordinates meetings of alumni clubs around the world; publishes the Ole Miss Alumni Review and an annual wall calendar; sponsors the Alumni Hall of Fame; sponsors an extensive travel program; honors 25-year faculty and staff members; maintains support and hosts activities for the college and schools through professional alumni chapters; coordinates activities for former athletes and friends through the M-Club Alumni Chapter; identifies alumni volunteers for student recruiting and career advising; and operates The Inn at Ole Miss for housing visitors to Oxford and Ole Miss.

Designs, develops, maintains and/or edits website or web publishing content.
The graphic web designer will manage design and maintenance for the OMAA, Inn, and M-Club websites while producing a variety of print and digital materials to support alumni engagement, marketing, and communications. Projects include the Alumni Review magazine, house ads, annual wall calendar, day planner, event materials, merchandise, and signage. Using Adobe products, WordPress, Canva, and other tools, the designer will deliver high-quality creative work that reflects brand standards, engages audiences, and supports organizational goals. Key skills include strong visual design ability, attention to detail, and effective project management.
• Maintain and update organizational websites.
• Design layouts for publications, direct mail pieces, and email templates.
• Create graphics for alumni clubs and chapters.
• Produce merchandise, promotional items, banners, and signage.
• Develop logos and media kits.
• Design event invitations, programs, and posters.
• Ensure all materials align with brand standards and are completed on time.
Success will be measured by:
• Timely delivery of high-quality, error-free designs.
• Positive stakeholder feedback.
• Consistent application of brand identity across all projects.
• Contribution to increased alumni engagement and event participation.
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Create and maintains content for digital portfolios.
2. Applies concepts, policies, processes and standards for development of web resources under the direction of management.
3. Assists with strategic planning of UM's integrated internet resources.
4. Consults, instructs and guides content contributors and identifies training needs and opportunities as appropriate.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
