Vice President of Sales – B2B Furniture (Remote, U.S.)
Location: Remote (must live within 1 hour of one of our showrooms in Burlington, NJ | Tracy, CA | Houston, TX | Woodridge, IL)
Industry: Mid-to-High-End Office & Commercial Furniture (Must have Industry experience!)

As we expand across the U.S., we’re looking for a strategic, high-performing Vice President of Sales to build and scale our national sales organization, drive growth in offline B2B channels, and develop strong industry partnerships. What You’ll Do:
Lead and scale a high-performing national sales team (W-2s & 1099s)
Recruit, onboard, and manage top-performing independent reps nationwide
Drive B2B growth through contract dealers, commercial clients, and retail partnerships
Cultivate strong relationships with major accounts and high-value projects
Set clear sales strategies by region and vertical; monitor and optimize performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and marketing on GTM strategies
Provide actionable insights and reporting to the executive team
Influence product development and pricing strategies
Travel regularly to showrooms, client sites, and industry events
You’ll Succeed If You Have:
10+ years of sales leadership in office furniture or adjacent industries (office supplies, commercial electronics, etc.)
Current role as a National Sales Director or Director of Inside Sales/Customer Service (W-2 status)
Experience with mid-to-high-end commercial furniture projects and dealer networks
Proven success in managing both direct and independent sales teams
Ability to recruit and activate a strong network of 1099 reps
Direct contribution to $5M–$20M in annual revenue
Experience leading sales teams generating 10–30% of total company revenue
CRM and sales forecasting expertise
Top-notch communication, negotiation, and planning skills
Preferred Experience:
Previous leadership roles at companies like:
Steelcase, Herman Miller, Workrite, Humanscale, Allsteel, Haworth, Branch, Talkbox, or similar
Deep familiarity with project-based commercial furniture sales
Successful launch or scaling of U.S. offline sales channels
Established industry network across territories and verticals
