"We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 26-week travel/contract assignment in Alameda, CA 94501. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

• Weekly Pay Rate: $1260 - $1400

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of patient care programs and treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct treatment to patients using appropriate therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, Speech Therapists, and other members of the rehab team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid state license
• CPR certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
