Jo ID : 3078849Role OverviewAs a Qualcomm Software Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what exists and help establish the new standards for tomorrow. You will innovate as an equal contributor on teams of world-class engineers to develop, implement, and maintain software for the most complex wireless devices in the industry today. You will leverage your computer science or engineering degree to make an immediate impact on the software development life cycle of one of Qualcomm's numerous software technologies.This internship supports the Software Engineering track. Based on your resume you will be aligned to projects within this track. Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related fieldMust be available for 11-14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-September)Expected graduation date of November 2026 or later1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or PythonPreferred QualificationsCandidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2026 and June 2027Extensive programming in C/C++Object-oriented software design and developmentDistributed systems and networking protocolsMulti-threaded programmingMulti-core and multi-processor systemsSystem performance optimizationExperience in complex software debuggingKnowledge of modeling concepts (e.g., discrete event simulation, polyglot programming)Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., bridging, routing), especially in LinuxQualcomm's Internship ProgramOur interns join world-class teams to help define and build what is next for mobility and the world.
