The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with integrated product teams as a key technical leader of the electrical system and design across all of Miso’s products . As a member of the Miso Robotics team, you will be working closely with a team of like-minded individuals to bring about a future with cooking robots and AI-powered kitchen technology. Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work closely with electrical,  mechanical, software, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
  • Work with the Product and R&D teams to define the requirements of the electrical and electronic components for our products. 
  • Execute hands-on work to create the electrical and electronic components of our robotic system, assemble the robotic hardware system
  • Design and develop digital/analog circuits
  • Conduct test to validate design performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues
  • Support prototyping and manufacturing process
  • Integrate and test new features and functions on our robotic systems. 
  • Create cable harness designs and assembly instructions for high-reliability applications
  • Must be available to work at our office in Pasadena
  • Experience working in a startup environment/fast-growing company is preferred
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an electrical engineering capacity; preferably developing robotics or mechatronics products
  • Broad experience across circuit design, signal processing, actuators, sensors, battery technology, power systems,  and control systems with a system-level thinking approach 
  • Familiarity with TI’s C2000 family of microcontrollers
  • Familiarity with I/O link industrial protocol and architecture
  • Must be familiar with Altium Schematic, capture and layout tools, and AutoCAD
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and digital logic
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
 

Compensation 

$130,000- $150,000/ Yr + Equity + Benefits

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range for candidates residing in the Los Angeles Metro area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus and benefits. If your salary requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply.
