Job Description
**Responsibilities**
This role will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging education that enhances the knowledge and skills of our clinical operations and revenue cycle staff, ultimately improving efficiency and revenue capture.
+ Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify operational education gaps and develop comprehensive written materials and/or curricula for various revenue cycle roles (e.g., billing, coding, collections, patient access). This includes creating engaging learning materials such as presentations, online modules, job aids, and training manuals.
+ Education Delivery & Facilitation: Deliver education material using a variety of methods, including Know Do Share (KDS), instructor-led training, online learning platforms, and on-the-job coaching.
+ Adapt delivery to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of the audience.
+ Performance Measurement & Evaluation: Track and analyze education effectiveness through various metrics (e.g., post-training assessments, performance improvement data, employee feedback).
+ Develop and implement strategies to improve training outcomes.
+ Content Maintenance & Updates: Regularly review and update materials to reflect changes in system, regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Ensure education content remains accurate, current, and relevant.
+ Communication: Collaborate effectively with revenue cycle leadership, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
+ Communicate education updates and progress to relevant parties.
+ Stay Current: Maintain knowledge of clinic operations, industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to revenue cycle management and performance improvement education.
**Qualifications**
**MINIIMUM**
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably with a focus on RCM training or education
Basic knowledge of Operations workflows
Strong understanding of healthcare billing and coding practices (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD).
Experience developing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals.
Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with IDX, Cerner, Epic is a plus
**PREFERRED**
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred
Certified Revenue Cycle Management Specialist (RCMS) or similar certification is a plus

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1200 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. **Pay Range**
$25.25 - $36.61 /hour
