Role Overview :
The Long Term Care nurse surveyor is a Registered Nurse responsible for conducting on-site surveys in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities to determine compliance with federal certification and state licensure requirements where applicable. This position reviews and evaluates the quality of care, quality of life, environment, and services provided to all residents in these facilities. This is a field-based position. This position requires in-state travel including some overnight stays in lodging near survey assignment sites. Travel expenses are reimbursed. There is no direct patient care involved in the role. This position requires registered nurse licensure in good standing from Indiana. Registered nurses from Gibson, Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Posey counties will be considered. Candidate must live in Central time zone.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
