Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications:
• A High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Information Technology sector.
• Proficiency in Oracle 19c+ architecture and database design, along with related Oracle technologies (such as Partitioning, Encryption, Pluggable Database, etc.) on Linux systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and PL/SQL development.
• Knowledge of Oracle Label Security (OLS) and methodologies aimed at enhancing database query performance.
• Experience in optimizing database environments.
• A strong grasp of high-availability solutions, architecture, backup methodologies, and their implementation (including RMAN and Data Guard).
• Proven experience in managing and tuning extensive databases (terabytes and petabytes), with skills in automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy, as well as strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, my role will include, but will not be limited to:
• Leading the design, development, and administration of Oracle 19c databases.
• Creating and developing database code for ETL processes from various data sources.
• Performing performance tuning and forecasting the scalability of systems.
• Suggesting necessary changes and optimizations to procedures, queries, or packages to enhance system performance and dependability.
• Installing and configuring database environments, in addition to executing database backups and restorations.
• Overseeing the management, monitoring, and administration of Oracle database systems.
• Engaging in server and storage capacity management, planning, and providing technical support for evaluating database systems and database design.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with PostgreSQL architecture, database design, administration, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Technology.
- Oracle OCP or OCM certifications.
- Linux experience relevant to database operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with various data-storage technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to enhance their code and boost performance.

Clearance Requirements: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is necessary for this role.

Physical Requirements:
- Capability to use hands for operating a computer and other office machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and computer printers.
- The individual in this role may need to move around the office to access file cabinets and office equipment.
- Constant positioning to maintain computers in the lab, including areas under desks and inside the server closet, will be necessary.
