Job Description

Location: Miami - USA
Salary: $100,000-$150,000
Days : Monday - Saturday (Negotiable Monday - Friday)

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, and energetic Family Assistant/Nanny PA to support a busy mother and her six children, aged 2 to 14.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced household, balancing structure and flexibility, while creating a positive environment for the children.

As well as helping with the children’s schedules, travel, and activities, you will support the mother by managing her calendar and household logistics whilst the children are at school. This will allow her to focus on personal commitments, self-care, and relationships. The role requires respect for her privacy and the ability to provide quiet, efficient support in the background.

You must be open to travel and spending up to three months at a time at the family’s various homes across the US.

Key Responsibilities:

Child-Focused Duties:

  • Organise and manage the children’s daily schedules: school, activities, and appointments
  • Provide safe transport to and from school, events, and playdates
  • Encourage age-appropriate activities to promote learning and fun
  • Support with homework and educational projects
  • Plan and lead fun activities during free time
  • Ensure children are ready for the day, including packing bags, prepping meals, and organising personal items

Support for the Mother:

  • Manage her personal calendar – appointments, social plans, and self-care
  • Anticipate tasks to reduce her mental load
  • Create a flexible, structured routine so she can work, create content, and build relationships
  • Provide quiet support while she’s working, socialising, or relaxing
  • Help maintain a calm household atmosphere
  • Take care of logistics to give her more quality time with her children and loved ones

Household & Organisation:

  • Keep the family calendar up-to-date
  • Organise family events, travel, and special occasions
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping and collecting prescriptions
  • Help keep the home clean and organised alongside staff or parents
  • Assist with snacks, light meal prep, and ensuring children’s dietary needs are met
  • Communicate clearly with the mother or her assistant about schedules and changes

Travel & Relocation:

  • Pack and organise belongings for travel and extended stays
  • Adjust routines and maintain structure in new locations
  • Support during travel (airport logistics, entertainment, care in transit)
  • Help settle the children into different homes
  • Be flexible with hours to suit different time zones and travel plans

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Highly organised and excellent with time management
  • Energetic, patient, and great with children
  • Proactive and able to think ahead
  • Skilled at multitasking in a busy household
  • Reliable, punctual, and discreet
  • Strong communication skills; works well with others
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and new environments
  • Maintains professionalism during social events or content creation

Requirements:

  • Female (for cultural reasons)
  • US citizen or valid Green Card/Visa
  • Experience as a Nanny, Family Assistant, or Personal Assistant
  • Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
  • Available for occasional evening/weekend work
  • Happy to run errands and assist with household tasks
  • Valid passport and able to travel domestically for long periods
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
  • Willing to relocate for up to three months at a time
  • Aware of social media boundaries and respectful of privacy
  • Flexible with longer days when the family has guests (especially on Fridays/Saturdays)
