Job Description

GENERAL LABOR / HELPER outdoors

Candidates must be able to work overtime and weekends for a couple of months at a time through seasonal trends. Candidates must possess a high tolerance for stress and working in extreme weather conditions. If you enjoy working in the outdoors for long hours at a time in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow within an organization; this job is for you. Please take note that we work in all weather conditions, rain or shine, hot or cold. This is no ordinary position and your physical skills and will be tested prior to employment.

This is a seasonal position with the opportunity to convert to full time for the right individual that shows motivation and the desire to learn and grow. The candidate must be able to load and off-offload delivery trucks with accuracy and on a timely basis. Communication, organization, problem solving, and the ability to lift 70lbs. at a minimum are required.

Position Tasks & Activities:
-Pull and load tent & related equipment with warehouse support
-Receive order or load list
-Decipher load list and pull necessary equipment for job
-Make necessary adjustments in load list and check load list against order
-Check weather conditions prior to & during installation
-Communicate with sales regarding any special notes
-Perform quality control inspection
-Check equipment off list as it is loaded and load equipment on truck in proper order
-Secure load for safety
-Load tools & operation equipment
-Assemble various tents per manufacturer, company, safety policy & procedures
-Lay out drop cloth in area of tent to protect top
-Coordinate with Tent Manager on layout
-Layout all components per specification and CAD diagram
-Install anchors uniformly
-Secure tent with final tie off
-Inspect tent for proper assembly
-If applicable, install all other rented accessories per layout
-Maintain tent job after installation and adjust per weather conditions
-Inspect tent and accessories for damages before removing. Complete paperwork if necessary
-Remove rented accessories
-Remove tent per manufacturer, company, safety policy & procedures
-Load truck properly at rental site
-Work with warehouse support to be sure truck is unloaded properly and that everything is returned to inventory
-Clean tents per company policy and procedure
-Report to tenting manager or crew chief completion of job and any necessary repairs
-Greet and assist customers with loading and unloading of rental equipment. Be sure customer understands proper usage and safety features of rented equipment. If loading securely fasten equipment to customer's vehicle
-Communicate with supervisor

Nature of the Work:
Will load and unload vehicles/trucks and deliver equipment in full or partial loads working with dispatcher/tent division manager and delivery assistant. Must service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner. May be required to assist customers with reservations, contracts, questions, register transactions and order adjustments if necessary.

Working Conditions:
Will be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area, with the exception of time spent in the warehouse loading or unloading and drive time. Most work areas will not be heated or air conditioned. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard; hence a sense of smell is required. Some electrical equipment is delivered, although it may not be a requirement to install or service the equipment. If lighting is required (the installation of extension cords and lamps) the drivers are provided with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFI) breakers. Stooping, crouching, bending, lifting, lowering, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, carting and carrying are intermittent tasks that routinely occur.

Education, Skills & Requirements:
-Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs
-Must maintain a professional personal appearance
-Must possess customer relation skills
-Must maintain a valid driver's license
-Must be familiar with local roads and be able to read a road map
-Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems
-Computer knowledge is preferred. Training on rental software will be provided
-Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus
-Must pass company drug screen
-Must maintain an acceptable attendance record
-Must have a full range of motion and dexterity
-Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form
-Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
-Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience

Benefits:
Upon being hired with company, benefits will only be offered to full-time employees after probationary/temp is completed. Seasonal and Part-time employees are not eligible for company benefits.
- Full-time employees are eligible for 40 hours of PTO per year. Accrual begins after 90 days of employment
- Full-time employees are eligible for late night delivery/pickup services bonus
- Full-time employees are eligible for 1 week of vacation after 1 year
- Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and life insurance benefits after 60 days.

Helpers are non-drivers Pay: 15.00/hr

Must have valid OK driver's license (CLEAN MVR)
Pass Drug Screen/random drug screens
Pass national background check
