Office: St. Mark's Catholic School Position Title: Elementary Teacher Reports to: School Principal Position Summary A teacher serves the mission of St. Mark's Catholic School, the Diocese of Boise, and the Office of Catholic Schools by forming students academically and spiritually in a faith-centered learning environment. Contract Days: Minimum of 190 Salary: $45,000 - $70,000 (depending on years of experience and education level. Key Responsibilities Model Catholic values; support Church teachings and school mission. Collaborate with parents as primary faith educators. Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned to diocesan academic and religious curricula. Foster a respectful, well-managed classroom culture. Promote positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and families. Actively participate in school Masses, service projects, and community-building activities. Collaborate in professional learning communities to improve teaching practices. Skills and Abilities Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Effective classroom management and organization. Ability to integrate technology into instruction and learning. Commitment to continuous professional and spiritual growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Current Idaho teaching certificate (or ability to obtain one). Classroom experience preferred. Working toward or holding diocesan catechetical certification.
