About The Role Paul Logistics is seeking a data-driven IT Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team and drive data-centric decision-making across the organization. In this role, you’ll act as a critical link between business operations, technology, and analytics—helping to align tools, processes, and insights that directly impact our freight and logistics performance. The baseline data will be extracted from our McLeod TMS and transformed into Power BI reports for both executive leadership and individual team members to review on a daily basis.
You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our data warehouse, developing both scheduled and ad hoc reports, and supporting user requests through robust business analysis. This role demands a hands-on, tech-savvy analyst with the ability to work independently solve complex data challenges. From optimizing routing and performance KPIs to compiling customer data and supporting internal teams with training and reporting tools, your work will have a meaningful impact on operational efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities - Analyze operational and system data from TMS, WMS, GPS, and ERP platforms
- Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery times, fuel use, and route optimization
- Support IT and Operations with data integration and automation initiatives
- Validate, clean, and maintain data to ensure integrity across systems
- Present findings and insights to cross-functional leadership
Requirements Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years in a data analyst or business intelligence role
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and either Python or R
- Skilled in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
- Knowledge of transportation or logistics operations preferred
- Familiarity with systems like McLeod, Samsara, or fleet tracking software is a plus
