The iconic The iconic__ Coronado is looking for a **Seasonal Barback** to join the **Serea Coastal Cuisine** team\!Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the worldand after a$400M renovation \( expansion,the resort is more stunning than ever\. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a comparable support role, such as Server Assistant or Food Runner, one year of customer service experience, and one year of experience in fine dining, luxury, or upscale environments\. Located onCoronadoIsland just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28\-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750rooms,cottages,and villas with65,000 square feetof banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets\. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars,afood truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in\-room dining\. **Classification:** Seasonal **Shift:** Various - must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays\. **Seasonal Dates:** Typically from early April to Labor Day weekend\. **Pay Rate:  ** The pay rate for this role is $19\.68and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\. **_Want to learn more?_** Hotel Website \( \( \( \( **What will I be doing?** **Both a valid Responsible Beverage Server \(RBS\) certification & RBS server ID are required for this position\.** As a Barback, you would be responsible for preparing and servicing permanent and portable bars throughout the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: + Retrieve orders from storeroom, visually check stock and reconcile with written requisitions to ensure order accuracy and re\-check stock upon delivery + Prepare the bar by cutting, slicing and peeling perishable garnishes and fruits, mixing and pouring juices and storing back\-up supplies in prescribed containers + Check with and assist the bartender to stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce + Transport taps and replace and perform routine maintenance on beer kegs + Maintain cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators and storage areas in accordance with federal, state, local and company codes **What are we looking for?** Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry\.
