JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker I

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Summary:

• Learn entry-level technical skills, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.

• Develop proficiency in preparing and fabricating furniture using design drawings, laminates, veneers, and cap strips while following standard safety and operating procedures.

• Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off on completed work.

• Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using proper PPE and ensuring aircraft interiors are protected.

• Assist in the development and implementation of related process improvements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body/painting experience in a technical environment preferred.

• Completion of a Technical Certificate in cabinetmaking or a current-year youth apprenticeship program in a related field preferred.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

• Basic computer literacy required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
