Job Title: 3D Scanner Operator

Location: Beaverton, OR

Job Responsibilities:

• Carefully handle and prepare artifacts for 3D scanning, ensuring all preservation protocols are followed.
• Set up and operate high-resolution 3D scanning equipment to create accurate digital models.
• Conduct multiple scanning passes to ensure complete and detailed captures.
• Maintain detailed logs of scanning activities, equipment calibrations, and project metadata.
• Troubleshoot scanning equipment to minimize downtime and maintain quality.

Skills Required:

• Experience with 3D scanning equipment is advantageous.
• Proven ability to handle fragile items with care and precision.
• Familiarity with digital capture workflows and basic 3D standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in museum studies, archaeology, or conservation is a plus.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry or hybrid scanning techniques.
• Experience with digital asset management systems or metadata tagging.
